Welcome, Jamie Welch!

Assistant Vice President, Loan Officer

Jamie Welch, our newest Loan Officer, joined Community Investment Corporation in September 2021. Prior to joining our team, Jamie was with Newtown Savings Bank, where she served as a Credit Analyst II. During her time with Newtown Savings, she helped analyze, prepare, and present key loan information to senior management and the board of directors. Jamie’s experience in the credit department, underwriting complex C&I and CRE loans of various sizes, gave her a depth of industry insight that is valuable to our clients and the commercial lending process.

In addition to her experience at Newtown Savings Bank, Jamie spent two summers with us at CIC as an intern while completing her undergraduate studies in Business Administration at the University of Rhode Island. Her passion for community service and economic development started while at URI as an accounting tutor for her fellow undergraduate students. When she’s not working, Jamie enjoys spending time with her family and her adorable cat, Benji.
