CIC has been providing financing opportunities to small businesses for nearly 50 years. CIC is not a bank. We are an economic development lender with a mission to help grow existing businesses and encourage new business start-ups. We do this by lending money, sometimes in partnership with banks and sometimes independently.
Because we offer specialty loan products through the U.S Small Business Administration (SBA), we are in the unique position of being able to provide practical guidance to small business entrepreneurs who seek funding through CIC in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and parts of Massachusetts.
