504 Loan Success Feature: Lyme Shores Racquet Club

Lyme Shores Racquet Club is a premier racquet sports facility located in East Lyme, CT. The facility offers 6 indoor and 3 outdoor tennis courts, 6 pickleball courts, a full-line pro shop, and many other amenities.

In 2022, Eric and Kelly Moore jumped at the opportunity to acquire the facility, as the original owners were ready for a change. The couple chose to use the U.S. Small Business Administration 504 loan program and partnered with CIC and JPMorgan Chase & Co. to complete the transaction. Additionally, the loan program provided funding for much needed facility repairs and enhancements.

The facility has served the East Lyme community since 1981. With a new ownership team in place, the newly-renovated location will continue to serve enthusiasts along CT’s shoreline for decades to come.
